The FitBit looks pretty cool. I wonder how it will work for running/exercising. Not enough details provided to convince me it's worth the $99 to preorder though.

An interesting article on the story behind the Obama campaign logo found in the Chicago Business News.

Checking out SocialGo.com which walks you through the steps of creating your very own social network. The UI is clean & easy to navigate with simple lightbox dialogs instead of traditional popups. One of the features I like best is their online help network, although I wish they'd provide a prepopulated dropdown instead of requiring you to type in a question.

I recently upgraded to a new Mac Pro and updated my Perforce client software as well. Feeling bold, I decided to download the latest version directly from the perforce.com Web site (which in the past was not always the easiest thing to do). I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised!
The designers at Perforce have made some recent changes which made the whole process quite easy. First, the software was easy to find on their site. Click Downloads, select your OS and version and you get a direct link for downloading the software. The site provides just enough information to help me decide which version I need and there isn't a lot page refreshes. New panels expand to show me more information which is a very nice touch. They've also improved the install experience. Using the integrated "Connection Setup Assistant" I was able to easily setup and configure my new client to work with my previous workspace. They even provided a handy breadcrumb trail that helped me understand where I was in the process. Nice touch.

Air for the iPhone. PhoneGap is a nice little hack, first created at an iPhone BarCamp, that wraps the Web view with a container. This container gives the view access to APIs available on the device, that may not be available yet via WebKit alone.

Brainstorming is more than just tossing around some ideas. Good article from the Innovation Playground.

A nice tool for formatting and cleaning up your CSS. Seems to do a pretty decent job, even with the crap I threw at it.

Interesting to see how iPhone innovation is driving design changes elsewhere - Dell has just announced the first multi-touch convertible tablet. They refer to it as "revolutionary".... yah, we'll see.
Messing around w/ a new(ish) public opinion mashup called Ask 500 People. The idea is pretty cool - submit a question to the masses and wait for a response.

Just updated my wife's 'legit' iPhone to 2.0. My hacked T-Mobile phone will have to wait a while I guess.

Multiple Account Twitter Tweeting - aka MATT sounds interesting, but I couldn't get it to work tonight. Claims you can post to multiple twitter accounts without having to log in to each one every time. Sounds promising for folks like me that have both personal and work twitter accounts that we want to keep separate.

Checking out new Web app called Workflow Perfect. The UI is simple. Very easy to get started. However, 2 minutes in to it, I'm feeling kinda bored already. Everything is very bland.
